We recommend taking our Fitting class. The Fitting class custom fits you with a particular firearm based on firearm weight, comfort, trigger, sights, recoil management, and accuracy.
You may purchase handguns, shotgun, rifles, and submachine guns. Any gun with a barrel length of less than 16” is considered a handgun.
For Maryland, you must complete Form 77R for each weapon you purchase. The form is available on the MD State Police Licensing Portal.
The USCCA Reciprocity app shows each state that you are permitted to carry a handgun in. You can download the app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. You must create an account and add your permit information, then the app will show the states.
You can find this information in the USCCA Reciprocity app.
You must check in your weapon(s) at an airport at the Airline’s luggage check-in counter prior to going to the TSA checkpoint. Your weapon must be stored in a secure case. If you do not check in your weapon(s), you may be detained or jailed.
Military are not required to take the training, but they still have to pay for the permit. Although the training is not mandatory, it is recommended because government rules change and you should stay up-to-date on the laws for the states where you hold permits. We have seen some military get rejected due to not taking the class.
We recommend expungement and pardons of all of your charges before completing the Maryland State Police application.
Refer to the USCCA Reciprocity app and check the information for the state that you are in.

In a fitting class, the D360 instructors will assess various firearms to find the one the best fits you based on feel, trigger comfort, recoil management, site preference, size, and range time. When the assessment is complete, you will receive a report with a recommendation of the best firearm(s) for you.
The fitting class includes 6 handgun rentals, a target, ammunition, and a fitting report.
